The clients wanted to achieve an industrial look, and for the rear of the home to give far reaching views that they could walk out to enjoy. The products specifi ed to achieve this included Smarts Aluminium casement windows, double doors and bi-folding doors along with an Apeer Lumi side/rear door and a stunning front door combination from RK doors. The front door is a contemporary Pivot door from RK Doors, providing a wide opening but with very little effort to open and close. The project was to progress over three JUDGES’ COMMENTS HIGHLY COMMENDED P&P Glass – Penthouse, London main phases, over almost three years. According to Sherborne, this proved to be a challenge in coordinating suppliers and ensuring that product specifi cations were consistent. The most demanding aspect of the project though, was the Gable frame for the master bedroom suite. This element of the installation was due to happen just as the country went into lockdown, so all of the stops had to be pulled out in order to get that part of the installation completed. The project started in 2017 and was fi nished in the summer of 2020 at a cost of over £65,000. The clients were able to move in on time an amazing achievement given the circumstances of last spring.
